Interim Artistic Director and Governing Commission Member
Jean founded Musique & Masque over 30 years ago, and continues to build on her legacy as a member of the Governing Commission and as Interim Artistic Director.
Theatre has been a mainstay in Jean's life since her teen years. While not an eager stage player herself, she has loved dealing with the intricacies of what makes it possible for actors to ply their craft on the stages. Beyond this, it has given Jean and other staff great satisfaction to learn and understand how theater involvement impacts and enriches the lives of everyone involved, in particular the lives of our young people.
Jean's all-time favorite show Musique & Masque has produced is Fiddler on the Roof.

Laura joined the Governing Commission in February 2026, but she's been acting with Musique & Masque since she was in the fifth grade, and now her daughter joins her onstage!
Laura says that M & M was a huge influence in her youth, both as a social outlet and getting her started as an amateur musician. She joined the Commission to help carry this amazing community forward so all our children can be welcomed, mentored, and encouraged for many years to come.
Laura's current favorite musical is Operation Mincemeat, but she says Ragtime will always hold a special place in her heart.
